Reflections on Ted Kennedy

Watched the funeral - moving tributes. The unfortunate thing is the m$m and many colleagues from what I'll politely call "the other side of the aisle" mentioned his "compromising." Seems to me he was a man of principle and would never ever compromise those principles.

There just is no equivalency between Right and Left as the Left did not get out in the streets and shake our fists in the air as the cross-country (and back again!) Reagan funeral took over the tv and news for a week and more; it was truly a DEATH CULT spectacle. The Left didn't protest that Reagan's Hollywood-production style funeral went overboard and was Stalinesque leader-worship propaganda unbefitting a democracy. (Although our dear Marc Maron and Mark Riley did work to clarify the historical facts of the Reagan Years! That was historical in itself!)

The Right are the masters of this politicization and yet they accuse the Left. Same old same old.
